Byron York - Not happy the president isn't focusing on Bush's wars.
When I started Intershame I wasn't sure what direction the website was heading. After a few of months it's become more and more clear that the majority of stories Intershame publishes are political in nature. I take most of the blame credit responsibility for that. Seems I have a strong interest in not just the political system, but analyzing how others view the political system.

Over the past few months I've been listening to and reading a lot of political opinions. The time I've spent knee deep in politics has led me to one irrefutable conclusion about political editorialists: They will slander any action made by their political opposition and praise the very same action if made by somebody who shares their political affiliation.

I don't think I'm breaking any new ground with my epiphany, but nevertheless I believe that if it can be pointed out often enough maybe those who practice this act of intellectual dishonesty can be embarrassed into using reason for a change.

For today's example of political hypocrisy I present Byron York, chief political correspondent for the Washington Examiner and his article Iran Smolders, Afghanistan Burns, and Obama Heads to...Denmark.

In it, York complains
With growing pressure for decisions on life-or-death issues in Afghanistan and Iran, this morning the White House announced that [the President] will soon travel to... Copenhagen.
I wonder if York felt equally outraged a few years ago and wrote
With growing pressure for decisions on life-or-death issues in Afghanistan and Iran, this morning the White House announced that [the President] will soon travel to... Copenhagen Crawford.
I doubt it.
