On Monday night, Jon Stewart ended his three-week hiatus from Comedy Central's liberal faux news program The Daily Show.

In the very first segment after a long vacation, Jon Stewart shucked his progressive nature and tackled the right-wing outrage du jour, ACORN. The right-leaning media has been reporting that ACORN, a tax-payer funded community organization for low- and moderate-income families, has been engaging in some pretty disgusting stuff.

Naturally, loyal Daily Show viewers were expecting Mr. Stewart to find some flaw in the right's coverage of ACORN - perhaps some laughable reporting technique that could used to prove them wrong. That's not the direction the piece took. Instead of refuting the right's claims (they can't really be refuted the crap ACORN employees tried to pulled is pretty repugnant), Stewart attacked the media for not being on top of this story from day one.

Jon Stewart's act of rational objectivity has turned him from Conservative Public Enemy #1 into the Patron Saint of Media Responsibility, quite literally, overnight.

Praise reigned down on Jon Stewart from every corner of the right-wing blogosphere. Here's a sampling of that praise...
