If you're a 13 to 16 year-old in this picture, you're getting screwed.
After a few days of some pretty serious Intershames, a bit on the lighter side today.

This is something that's bothered me for years...

Movie theaters charge adult ticket prices to anybody 12 and older, yet don't allow those kids into adult movies until they're 17.

If the MPAA has determined that the suitable age for adult film consumption is 17, shouldn't the distributors of their product use the same guidelines when determining pricing to those films?

If Utah Senator Orin Hatch can request an investigation into college football's BCS system, then surely another senator as bored as Orin can get the ball rolling on an investigation into this.

The nameless, faceless victims of this multiplex malfeasance deserve a voice. And considering the extensive influence the 13 to 16 year-old demographic has in the polling booth, look for legislation very, very soon.
