Fox and Friends' anchor Steve Doocy conducted an interview with atheist Eoban Binder and Pastor Tony Taylor concerning ads being placed on Indiana buses that say, "You can be good without god".

I challenge anybody to watch this interview without doing one or more the following... shake your head is disgust, make a facial expression which denotes confusion, yell at your monitor or experience the urge to slap the shit out of Steve Doocy. I'm a pretty level headed guy and my head nearly exploded. Here's the video. Below is the transcript so you can follow along at home.

Here are the questions that expose not only Doocy's limitations as a journalist, but his bias (as if a Fox News anchor's bias is really in question)...

(0:38) Doocy: Mr. Binder, as an atheist you do not believe in god, yet you sued to put god in your ad. Why?

(1:18) Doocy: [...] Why put god in your ad? You don't believe in god.

A six year old can see the absurdity of this argument. I'm not kidding. I tested it. I asked my six year old nephew if he believed in unicorns. "No", he replied. So I told him that because he doesn't believe in unicorns, he can't use the word 'unicorn'". He wrinkled his eyebrow, looked at me like I was crazy and said, "That's stupid". No argument.

After Doocy finished waging his war on intelligence he turned to question Reverend Tony Tayler. I'm still in awe that Reverend Taylor was able to get up off the canvas after being hit with this haymaker of a question...

(1:40) Doocy: OK, Reverend Tony Taylor, what do you think about this? When you see the message Reverend do you feel like the atheist group is poking Christains in the eye?
Whoever deemed this man fit for the airwaves should be banned from decision making of any kind.

Seriously? Why not ask him if he'd care for some fellatio while he answers? After Reverend Taylor responds, Doocy resumes his attack on intellect...

(3:03) Doocy: Mr. Binder, you know eh, if you're anti- if you're not religious, you don't believe in god, you put "You can be good without god" in your message, why didn't you have more of an atheist message... like "You can feel good about yourself' or something like that? Why did you have to include god?

Binder: Our goal is to spark discussion about the secular nature of morality and ethics...

Doocy: I understand that and you said that earlier, but don't you feel like- you have to realize there are a lot of Christians in that area who are highly offended by this.

Binder: Well, I'm not really sure what your point is...

Well said lad, well said.
