Intershame On: Tyler Weinman |
Meet The Alledged Miami Area Serial Cat Killer
06/19/2009
Please don't mutilate me.
Dozens of cats have recently been found mutilated in the Miami area. One cat was found with its eye gauged out. Most of the cats found were partially skinned. Some were gutted. Miami-Dade Police report that two of the discovered cat carcasses were "posed". The majority of the mutilated cats were found in their owner's yards. For the last few weeks, Miami area cat owners have been living in fear as an apparent feline serial killer was on the loose. No more.
An 18 year-old sadist named Tyler Weinman has been arrested and is being charged with most if not all of these crimes.
Tyler Weinman, (alledged) douche
Read more about this here and here. Read about his capture here. Now, I've never been too fond of cats. They just don't do it for me. If I wanted an animal that sat around and did nothing, demanded food and shelter, lacked gratitude and didn't acknowledge affection - I never would have broke up with my ex. Still, the species didn't deserve what Tyler Weinman (and possibly other accomplices, who knows?) had in store for them. If this is all true and Tyler is the cat killer, then this guy got his kicks from torturing helpless animals. Definitely Intershameful.
Sadly, and on a serious note, this guy's family has to sit back and watch as their son/brother/grandson has his life taken away from him at very young age. My heart goes out to them. What they'll have to go through will be terrible.
This case is a shocker. Saying "WTF" doesn't particularity cover it. However, if Tyler Weinman is found guilty, maybe he'll be sent to a prison with many, many former cat owners. That'll cover it.

- 1060 days agoHe'll be found not guilty, textbook case of a sociopathic personality disorder. It's good that he was caught early before it got worse. Mental illness isn't shameful. Tragic? Yes. Disturbing? definitely. I think the real shame lies in casting people with an obvious medical issue as deserving of scorn.
- 1060 days agoAnd I think it's shameful to dismiss people like this as "just having a disease." If your "disease" makes you think it's acceptable or fun to abuse people or animals, then yes, you do have a "disease" deserving of scorn. This boy deserves to feel like an evil monster and nothing else could possibly satisfy me. I hope he kills himself.
