Too Close to the Eruption

It's safe to say that the best, and simultaneously worst place to view a volcanic eruption is at the top of the volcano.

- 946 days agoThey didn't get hurt. They didn't need to run for safety. They seemed to be at a safe enough distance to prevent being harmed. What part of this proves them to be idiots exactly?
- 938 days agoJonO is exactly right. Why are they idiots? That seems awesome as hell, it's a once in a lifetime experience that wouldn't ever be forgotten. Too close would be getting engulfed in smoke and lava. Seriously, what exactly is the point of this post?
