The Minneapolis Star Tribute is reporting that Brett Favre is staying retired.

Vikings beat reporter Judd Zulgad just received a phone call from Brad Childress who said he talked to Brett Favre and that he was informed that Favre is staying retired.

Look for him to change his mind next week.
