I Can't Clear My Head of What I Just Saw

I just watched Glenn Beck interview Rush Limbaugh. My brain must have locked up because I didn't turn the channel fast enough to avoid seeing Glenn Beck interview Karl Rove immediately after.
I really need to hear something smart. The intellectual void left after this display of ignorance needs to be filled, lest the universe collapse under the weight of their galatic stupidity.
Somebody say something smart. Please. Quote Yeats, Chaucer or Browning. Give me some Socrates, Plato or Aristotle. Fuck, I'll even settle for some Poe. I need to hear something resembling a coherent thought.

I bet you the right hates socialism because of its atheistic implications, that is that Marx wrote the manifesto from the point of view that humans are animals. The reason it fails IS NOT proof that it is "wrong" but that human nature had been overlooked. No matter what your view of socialism or communism, if you fail to see the genius in Marx you cannot be considered an intellectual. If you cannot see the genius in Machiavelli because you are a catholic you lack mental capacity because you operate under the assumption that 'truth' is synonymous with 'good.' if you are one of these people, please eat a STFU sandwich.
